About weight lifting?

I have been lifting heavy weights on a weight bench that was waaay to small for me. It put a lot of pressue on my right wrist. The pain got to a point where I had to stop working out. I laid off working and and noticed the pain started dissapearing and did so even more when i started icing and heating my wrist. Once in a while I get a slight soreness in my wrist but it disappears when I do stretches. I have a new weight bench now that is the correct size and have weight lifting gloves. Can I start working out again and do you believe the pain will come back?

I box and play many others sports too… I have had similar situations and I usually took about a week off and then EASED back into it until I felt okay doing a full workout or whatever. If it starts hurting again try an elastic bandage… Those help a lot too! Hope I helped!
