Weight lifting…………………?
Question by Forrest Gump: Weight lifting…………………?
Hey, Read all please,
Im new to weight lifting, i started weight lifting with as heavy dumbbells as i could, doing no more then 10 reps (i couldn’t lift any more then 10 at a time) and 2 sets, along with 150 pressups ) not much, but the pressups are just to keep fit, not muscle gain)
Its been a month since i started, ive upped the weights as i can lift a lot more then i could…. The problem is, when i lift the bone feels stressed in the middle of the wrist bone on the side of the little finger on both wrists, more the left though… I THINK this is down to my bones not used to such weight and my wrists will increase with bone density in time if i keep lifting the same weights and eat healthy with lots of calcium.
Do you agree?
It only feels stressed when i lift a lot, the stress hurts a little when relieved of the weight only for no more then 5 seconds, each second it feels better.
Do you think its due to bone mass and will get better once my body increases the bone mass due to the stress?
Thanks
But im trying to bulk up, if i lessen the weight, i dont think i will bulk up as much. 🙂

Your lifting too much weight. back off and do 3 sets of 10 reps at a comfortably “heavy” weight. only increase by 2 pounds when you feel this is too easy – You should feel the burn after the 7th rep. if not, too little weight, if before that 7th rep, your lifting too much. weight lifting should NOT BE PAINFUL! It should challenge you. good luck!
