When weight lifting to lose weight do you lift heavy low reps or light high reps?
Question by alainaalaina_2: When weight lifting to lose weight do you lift heavy low reps or light high reps?
There is a big debate going on within my household…and online I have found so many different blogs on the subject…here is thing I was under the impression that when you lift heavy it burns fat faster as your muscles bulk up…and the others feel if you don’t lift light you bulk up and it sits on top of fat and by lifting light you burn more fat…WHO’S RIGHT? or are WE WRONG?

The amount of weight has nothing to do with fat loss. The fat loss is do to your body expending energy to lift the weights. So you could do either lifting styles and still lose fat, as long as you are expending more energy than you take in. (burn more calories than you eat)
