im 17 yr old male, 143 pounds, 5 foot 8 roughly. im pretty skinny, dont have much muscle on me. I currently do weights, not that heavy cos i cant really life that heavy. 8-10 kgs dumbbells and 20-25 kilos bench. its hard for me to gain weight (when i say weight i mean muscle weight). What can i do to gain lean muscle? im thinking of joining a gym to go with my friend. I recently bought musashi bulk protein/carbs to take every morning and after training. other recommendations?

Your doing right. Try and work out 6 days a week, eat 6 or 7 meals a day, and push yourself. Just keep at it and you will get there. Also take in a lot of protein… about around 1g per pound of body weight. Protien helps the muscles…which is what you want.

On your workouts… keep them changing. Don’t do the same routine all the time. Change it up ever couple of weeks or so and you will see the difference.
