Question by Katie: why cant i just lift weights and no cardio?
Doesn’t muscle burn calories from lifting and once you build up your muscles, they continue to burn calories? So why is cardio necessary to burn fat? I feel like i get the most results from lifting when trying to lose weight… just curious, thanks!

Cardio is essential for losing weight. It gets you heart pumping for a long period of time and you sweat more. Sweat is fat that you’re burning off.
