Question by fred: how long should i lift weights per week and should i lift every other day?
okay, so i am an overweight 15 year old, i am around 5’6-5’9 and i weigh 215. i used to lift weight for about an hour after school and jog for 10 minutes, i did both of this every day and my dad told me to lift weights one day and don’t lift the next, to skip a day after every work out so my muscles can have time to relax or something and so they can have time to get bigger, i don’t know if thats true but thats what he said because he also lifted a while back, by the way if i do cardio for 10 minutes a day, 8 cups of water, low portion of foods(if not healthy foods), how long will it take to lose 45 pounds???? please answer

Wow, 45 pounds is a lot, so I’m going to guess around a few months
